More Commitment to Fight Tobacco Deaths

“It’s a winnable fight,” said Matthew Myers who is also the president of the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids. “We actually have the policies and programs to end the tobacco epidemic, and they don’t cost so much they can’t be implemented quickly.” Mr. Matthew Myers claimed.
The new surgeon general’s report also supports the actions that are demanded by the different health groups.
The report also said that the current rate of progress to control tobacco is just not very fast enough. The report also cited different health victories in the past. Victories like eradication smallpox and polio have been cited in the report. The report also said that the deaths related to tobacco also demand similar kind of commitment from everyone in the society.
