But people have started to question that how important those young people really are to make sure that the health exchanges work smoothly.
"There's been this incredible focus on reaching young invincible and getting them to sign up for insurance," commented Larry Levitt, who is the senior vice president of the Kaiser Family Foundation. "But it turns out the invincible part is actually much more important than the young part." said Larry Levitt.
This is because of the fact that under this new health law, insurers would no longer be able to deny the coverage to the people or charge them extra just because of their health status. So from now on the people, who would be healthy, would be cheaper to cover through insurance regardless of their age.
